It’s back! Buy 10 Rhino Tapes, Get a FREE Dymo Rhino 5200 Kit…

The super popular “10 Tape” promo is back after an absence of well over a year (maybe two now?).  While stocks last you can get a free Dymo Rhino 5200 Printer Kit (5200 printer, hard case, charger, li-ion rechargeable battery pack, free tape) when you buy any* 10 Dymo Rhino tapes from any of these two stores:

The Dymo Shop

Dymo Industrial

Luckily, this isn’t one of those annoying “claim” promotions where you have to buy the tapes, wait for them to arrive, fill in an online claim form, then send of barcodes and claim forms via snail mail and then a month later the free item arrives…  This offer is immediate – ie. You add the tapes and the machine to the basket, the cost of the printer is zeroed, and it all arrives together.    Strictly while stocks last.  One free printer per order.

*The offer excludes 24mm tapes, as these don’t fit the 5200 so obviously it would be pointless to include them!

Hohoho and/or LOL – New Dymo holiday labels are laughably bad

The new Dymo XMAS labels (or “holiday labels” as they are officially called) have finally been released, although so late they nearly missed Christmas (sorry, “the holidays”) altogether.

However, they are pretty bad. Ok, really bad.  “Unintentionally hilarious” is the best way to describe them.

The Tree design, to be fair, does look like a Christmas tree. kind of. without any decorations, and for some reason white on a green background. but still a tree.

The others, however, are somewhat weirder.  Firstly there’s one one that is widely referred to as “the moose“. Perhaps it is supposed to be a reindeer?  Or just some generic, non-holiday specific, moose like creature. Who knows, but I can’t believe people will be queuing up to buy brown and white address labels with a moose on… So bad it will probably be a collectors item one day…

And lastly, there is the red label which is like… uh… well… um… not really sure what it is supposed to be and/or represent.  It’s basically a woolly hat and a moustache.  Is it supposed to be a trendy Santa – without a beard?  I child with a comedy fake moustache ready to go and play in the snow…? who knows!  But distributors have nicknamed it “the lumberjack” – not very festive or holiday like, but I guess it may find a niche market amongst lumberjacks, hipsters and “lumbersexuals” (yes, that’s a thing, google it!)

Anyway, they’re “limited edition” so if you want to buy some in the hope you’ll be able to flog them on ebay as collectors items when the majority of them probably get pulped, you can find them here:

Current Dymo Promos & Offers

Make out like a bandit by taking full advantage of the 40% cash back promo at the Dymo Shop!

The Dymo Shop is currently running a Cashback promo on orders over £50 that contain at least one printer.

The cashback is 20% for orders between £50-99.99 and 40% between £100-500.  Most printers qualify for the cashback offer, except the new XTL industrial range and a few odd ones like the M1011 industrial embosser.

But if you’re planning to buy a printer, you can make out like a bandit if you’re smart about it.  Take the popular LabelWriter 450 as an example.

Firstly, this is already a bargain – the normal machines are £69.99 (all prices ex vat) but Dymo currently have a bundle kit consisting of the very same printer bundled with 3 rolls of labels for only £47.99 – So the same printer, for £22 less, plus 3 rolls of labels!

But, it gets better.  The LW450 bundle is included in the cashback offer!  ok, at £47.99 it doesn’t qualify.  But if you add a single box of the most popular labels (99012’s) at £11.49 then now the total is £59.48 – but now you get 20% cashback (£11.90) meaning the final price, minus cashback, is £47.58!  So now you have a £69.99 printerplus 3 rolls of labelsplus a box (2 rolls) of 99012 address labels for only £47.58!

If you are likely to want more 99012’s in future (and most people do) then why not add more and push it into the 40% cashback territory?  Add 5 boxes of 99012’s to the printer and the total is now £105.44 – but you can get 40% cashback on this, so you would end up paying (after cashback) only £63.26!  So you started with a printer bundle pack for £47.99, added 5 boxes (10 rolls) of the most popular labels and you’re still paying over £6.00 less than the price of the regular printer on it’s own!

I think that’s the most exclamation marks I’ve ever used in one article…

But remember, only one order per customer, and it must contain a printer. So to take advantage of this you need to order it all together in one go.

Dymo Rhino 4200 Promotional Kit

Dymo have done a 2nd production run of the Rhino 4200 promotional kit. They first produced a limited quantity of this promotional package back in 2013, which ran until stocks ran out. Now they have produced another limited quantity, which again will last until stocks run out (until maybe the same time next year!).

Usually the 4200 is only available on it’s own, with no accessories. But the promotion version includes a padded canvas style case, with the printer, a rechargeable battery pack, AC adapter/Charger and 18444 (12mm white vinyl) tape – all for the same price!

The printer is available from selected Dymo Rhino Resellers such as:

http://www.dymo-express.co.uk/dymo-rhino/dymo-rhino-4200-label-printer-kit.html
http://www.rhinopro.co.uk/rhino-4200-kit.html

Just make sure when comparing prices that you are looking at the promotional pack, not the single printer, and this is a ‘free upgrade to kit’ offer (ie. all the extras are free) so make sure the resellers aren’t selling this at a higher cost to the standard boxed version!

Special Offer: LabelWriter 450 Bundle

Dymo have done a limited production run of the LabelWriter 450 bundled with 3 boxes of labels – and the price is lower than the price of the LabelWriter 450 just on it’s own.

Dymo have labelled the boxes as “FREE Printer inside”, their theory being that you are buying the labels and getting a free printer.  However, this is based on their RRP’s for the labels, and in the real world nobody sells the labels at those prices so the figures do not add up.  But despite their confusing box design it is still a very good deal, much better than buying the regular machine, and the best Labelwriter deal you’re going to get any time soon.

Stocks are limited, so the offer is “while stocks last”, and you can buy them from Dymo Express.

Dymo Cardscan – £50 off voucher!

Dymo Label Printers are offering £50 off the Dymo Cardscan Executive business card scanner. Just add the cardscan to your basket then enter the coupon code ‘executive’ into the coupon box and press ‘update’. We don’t know how long this is valid for so don’t hang around.

You can find more information on the cardscan here, including all of the product info and the promotional video showing how it works.

Labelwriter 450 FREE Starter Kit Offer is Back!

This weekend sees the long awaited return of the very popular ‘Free Starter Kit’ promotion on the Dymo LabelWriter 450.  Rumours were that the promo was “never to return” as Dymo had discontinued the Starter kits.

However, we can reveal that the offer is back, exclusively at Office Ninja – the Office Supplies SuperStore!  Apparently someone somewhere still had some stock and the offer is back on.

So while stocks last, you can get a free Labelwriter Starter Kit with every Dymo LabelWriter 450.

Offer: £100 Cashback on Dymo LabelWriter 450 DUO’s

Dymo have extended their cashback offer to the LabelWriter 450 DUO label printer.  If you purchase one and 6 or more of any Labelwriter labels and any 5 or more Dymo D1 tapes between 1st January 2011 and 31st March 2011 you can claim £100 cashback from Dymo.

Considering that some internet based Dymo sites are selling the DUO’s for little over £100 anyway, you’re almost getting the labeller for free!
