According to our sources the DLS 8.5.2 software for OS X 10.10 “Yosemite” also appears to work with “El Capitan” public beta.
The Yosemite driver can be downloaded here: LabelWriter 450 (Then click on the DRIVERS tab)

Sorry to let you know that this driver is not working the 400 series on El Capitan. Software keeps telling me to update…
Hi Peter. Your best of course of action would be to email Dymo tech support on helpdesk@dymo.com and see if they have a fix. If you get it working it would be great if you can let us know what the problem/fix is.
A COUPLE OF UPDATES ON EL CAPITAN:
1) If you upgraded to El Capitan and you can’t get the software to work, re-install it. That should fix most problems
2) If you are using a Dymo PnP printer (not a LabelWriter) then you will need to use the Dymo Label Light Software 2.1.1
(see http://www.dymo-label-printers.co.uk/news/dymo-pnp-plug-and-play-software-for-mac-os-x-1011-el-capitan.html)
Access to Mac Contacts from DYMOLabels 8.5.2 has disappeared after upgrade to El Capitan on two separate systems.
Go into the Dymo Label Software > Address Book > Address Book Source – and in there, choose MAC Address Book.
Even if it was configured correctly before it may have been reset during the upgrade. Please report back as to whether this fixes the problem or not.
This has not worked. I have re-installed the software; rebooted etc on both machines. Using current OSX. Contacts works perfectly. Dymo LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo works perfectly.
When first installed the link to Contacts was produced automatically – I think -; why can it not happen again?
I guess you’ll have to talk to tech support on this one – helpdesk@dymo.com
MAc Address Book failure, Access to contacts failure, DYMO labels software Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Dymo needs OS X permission to access contacts data.
System preferences – security & privacy – privacy
Contacts in L hand column – tick for Dymo in R hand column.
It’s hard to tell which part of that jumbled mess is supposed to be an error message, and which is the config of your machine, and what exactly is your question and/or point? If it’s an error what were you doing when it occurred? Installing the software? running the software for the first time after install? Using the address book? Some description/context would be useful if you’re expecting some help with it.
