You may have problems with your labelwriter no longer being recognised when you upgrade your computer to the latest version of MAC OS X 10.10 (“Yosemite”)
If you experience this problem then upgrade to the latest Dymo software for Macs, which can be found HERE.
Installed latest Dymo Yosemite fix (Version 8.5.2.95) and the printer is still not accessible. Have deleted all Dymo files and did a clean install, followed all directions and the printer still shows as offline. Unit is powered properly with Dymo supply. Tried different USB cables.
When re-connecting printer to computer, the printer queue notification changes from “The printer is not connected.” to nothing for a second or two and the shows the same message.
Message when attempting to print: “Printing – The printer is offline.”
