Problem Clinic: Failed to Convert DEVMODE to Print Ticket Error when Printing from DYMO Label version 8

Q. What does the following error mean when using Dymo Label Software v8?

“Printing Error: PrintTicket provider failed to Convert DEVMODE to Print Ticket”

A. The Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) has either been uninstalled or is not configured properly. Open Add or Remove Programs in Windows to determine if MSXML is currently installed on your computer.

To download MSXML, go to the Microsoft site.  Windows XP users should download and install msxml6_x86.msi.

  1. Since I installed OS X 10.10 Yosemite last week on my iMac, label printer 310 does not work anymore. When trying to print a label I get a software dump with error: “rasterdymolw is onverwacht gestopt” .
    Please advice.
